Question 1

What is spunlace nonwoven fabric?

Accepted Answer

Spunlace (hydroentangled) nonwoven is made by carding staple fibers into a web and bonding them with high-pressure water jets instead of chemical binders or heat. The result is a soft, drapeable, low-lint fabric with good tensile strength, widely used in medical, wipes, beauty and synthetic leather applications.

Question 2

Which fibers can YDL Nonwovens process?

Accepted Answer

YDL purchases and processes polyester (PET), viscose/rayon, polypropylene (PP), polylactide (PLA) and other fibers, as well as specialty fibers such as glass fiber, basalt, polyimide and pre-oxidized filament for technical and high-temperature applications.

Question 3

Can color, hand feel, pattern and function be customized?

Accepted Answer

Yes. YDL runs base fabric production plus dyeing, sizing, printing and functional finishing in-house, so color, hand feel, printed pattern and functional effects such as water repellency, flame retardancy, cooling or thermochromic finishing can be matched to the buyer's specification.

Question 4

Is YDL Nonwovens ISO 9001 certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. YDL operates an ISO 9001 quality management system with documented quality control procedures from fiber intake to finished roll inspection.

Accepted Answer

YDL is located in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, China, and has served global buyers since 2007 in medical and hygiene, beauty and skincare, faux leather, home textile, cleaning and filtration markets.
